It comes up in simulation tests. There's a complex series of operations, somewhere in there due to numerical error or whatever it fails. And that's fine, because we catch the error later and handle it appropriately. But the junk dumped to stdout in the log is a problem. I realize that this is coming from the guts of the MKL, not neanderthal.
